Congratulations go to Sabrina Butler , our own LCRD President, who has just been hired as the Coordinated Campaigns Field Director in Southern Navajo County and Northern Gila County! Sabrina will see that we are all involved in and informed of the decisions for the election of our candidates in Legislative District 5 ( Elaine Bohlmeyer, Bill Shumway, & Pres Winslow ) and Congressional District 1 ( Ann Kirkpatrick ) and for the statewide elections.

As we move toward the August 24th Primary Election, we can congratulate ourselves for being ahead of the power curve because of our many calls that resulted in increasing the Democrats on the Early Voter List. Democrats on the Permanent Early Voter List vote much more often!

It also would be appropriate to thank our County Recorder for sending letters to every voter in Navajo County about the Early Voter List that also resulted in the increase of Democrats on that list.

We can also thank the Arizona State Democratic Party (ADP), in advance, for their willingness to spend precious funds on sending another invitation to our Democrats for the Permanent Early Voter List.

Our job is to insure that more funds are spent on electing our candidates. To do that, we need to make more phone calls to our Democrats who have not been enrolled on the Permanent Early Voter List in the precincts that haven’t been called. These calls will take them off the mailing list and save the postage and printing costs.

Our first deadline is Monday, July 19th, when the first ADP mailing will go out. We will have other calls to make after that date, but these early calls are the ones that save the money!
